How to interconnect Mainconsole in Crystal NuClient?

 

Description

How to view Mainconsole channels in Crystal NuClient?

Applied to

  • Crystal NuClient 3.2 or above version
  • Mainconsole 6.4 or above version

Steps

1. Mainconsole: Start Live streaming service (connect to NuClient via Web port)

2. Mainconsole: Start RTSP service (transmit live view and playback)

3. Use NuClient to log to the Mainconsle server directly.

CAUTION: Please specify web port in the end of the IP address 

4. If you have logged into a Crystal management server, and would like to add some live video from Mainconsole, please add Mainconsole server in the System Navigator. Please remember to specify Mainconsole's web port number.

Note:

1. Connected (Warning) is a reminder message to remind user Mainconsole cannot use Matrix function.

2. If you want login Crystal via WAN, please don't forget to setup port forwarding for Mainconsole "WEB" and "RTSP" port then fill out the "WAN address" in system navigator. To understand how to setup port forwarding, please refer to the Wiki How to view live view and playback through the internet (WAN)?

3. Then you will be able to see Mainconsole cameras in the Content List.

Note: 

1. Supported version:

  • Crystal NuClient 3.2 or above version
  • Mainconsole 6.4 or above version

2. Supports multiple Mainconsole PCs interconnect to NuClient simultaneously, but the configuration would be saved in local side instead of remote side.

3. Support part of live view and playback feature only as below table. For Matrix function ENT or above license level is necessary.
