How to reset NVRmini2 /NVRsolo /NVRsolo Plus Admin Password or Factory Default?

Description
1. When you forgot NVRmini 2 password, restore the default Administrator’s Password is the last option for you.
2. How to reset NVRmini2 to  factory default setting.

Solution 

1. Restore the Default Administrator’s Password : admin

1-1. Verify that the system is fully booted.
1-2. Insert your reset tool into the reset button hole on the back of the device.
1-3. Press and hold the reset button for 8 seconds, release your hands until the buzzer beeps one time and the System Status LED flashes in blue.
1-4. System will restart and the Administrator’s password is now reset to admin.

2. How to reset to factory default setting.

2-1. Verify that the system is fully booted.
2-2. Insert your reset tool into the reset button hole on the back of the device. ( see below Figure)
2-3. Press and hold the reset button for 14 seconds, release your hands until the buzzer beeps twice and the System Status LED flashes in orange.
2-4. System will restart and all settings are reset to default.

Note: As you reset, it will take you some time, please be patient until you hear the buzzer beeps twice.
