How to do Offline Activation in Mainconsole

There are two methods to activate your licenses:

有兩種啟用序號的方式：

1.  Online Activation (If Mainconsole is connected to the internet)

1.  線上啟用 (假設Mainconsole有連上網際網路)

2.  Offline Activation (If Mainconsole is not connected to the internet)

2.  離線啟用 (假設Mainconsole沒有連上網際網路)

We will dedicate this section to introduce Offline Activation:

在這個章節我們會專注在介紹離線啟用：

Solution

1. Go to <General Setting> and click <License Manager>:

1. 請至 <一般設定> 並點選 <序號管理>：

2. Use <License Management Tool> to activate your serial numbers, kindly choose <Offline activation> and press <Export offline pack>.

2. 請使用 <序號管理工具> 以便啟用你的序號，請選取 <離線啟用> 並點擊 <匯出離線啟用/轉移資訊檔>。

--> Once you export offline pack, this offline pack can only be used once, regardless of successful activation or not. If you have to activate again licenses, generate a "new" offline pack.

--> 一旦你匯出Offline Pack之後，不論啟用程序成功與否，這個Offline Pack都是一次性使用的檔案。如果你還需要再次啟用序號，請你重新產生"新的"Offline Pack。

 

3. Click <Yes> and it will immediately show another confirmation dialogue. Click <Yes>:

3. 點擊 <Yes> 之後，另一個確認對話視窗會再彈出，請點擊 <Yes>：


4. Next, a window will prompt to ask where to save your offline activation files. Make sure to create a new folder or save it on the Desktop and click <OK>.

4. 接著，另一個彈出視窗會詢問你要把產生的Offline Pack檔案儲存在哪邊，請確認你在OS桌面新創ㄧ個資料夾以便點擊 <OK> 以儲存檔案。

 

In this example, we have saved “Offline Activation” files on the Desktop.  

這個例子裡，我們將"離線啟用"所使用的檔案儲存在桌面。

5. Then take this new folder to another PC which is connected to the internet.

5. 接著請複製離線啟用檔案至有網際網路連線的電腦上。

Open the OfflinePack folder and double click the OfflineTool:

進入OfflinePack的資料夾，雙擊執行OfflineTool程式：

6. A “Offline Tool” dialogue like the following will pop up. Key in you serial numbers, for example:

6. ㄧ個如下圖所示的 "Offline Tool" 對話視窗便會彈出，請輸入你的序號(例如：1234-ABCD-5678-0000)並點擊 <Activate> 按鈕。注意：你可以在你購買攝影機序號時取得的購買包找到相關的序號資訊。

1234-ABCD-5678-0000 then click <Activate> button. Note: The serial number are included in the package that you have purchased for the IP camera licenses. 

7. Press OK in the confirmation dialogue:

7. 在確認對話視窗裡點擊OK。



The system will show another confirmation dialogue about where you want to save “offline_license.dll”. Press <OK>:

程序會再彈出另一個確認對話視窗，引導你要將“offline_license.dll”存在哪邊，確認後並點擊 <OK>：

8. Copy the “offline_license.dll” back to the original PC without WAN network:

8. 將“offline_license.dll”複製回原本無法存取網際網路的電腦上：


9. Return to <License Management Tool>.

9. 回到 <序號管理工具>。

Important: Remember to return to <License Management Tool> NOT <Offline Tool>. Search for  “offline_license.dll”, then press <Import>:

重要：切記務必回到 <序號管理工具> 這個程序，而非 <Offline Tool> 這個程序。搜尋“offline_license.dll”的位置並點擊 <匯入>：

10. In the end, you will see this confirmation dialogue. Click OK.

10. 最後，你會看到如下的確認對話視窗，請點擊OK。


And it will show "Import License file successful."

同時會顯示"成功匯入認證檔案'。


Now, you can see your license list in the <License Management Tool>:

現在，你可以在 <序號管理工具> 裡看到已啟用的序號。

Remember that once you export offline pack, this offline pack can only be used once, regardless of successful activation or not. If you have to activate again licenses, generate a "new" offline pack.

切記，一旦你匯出Offline Pack之後，不論啟用程序成功與否，這個Offline Pack都是一次性使用的檔案。如果你還需要再次啟用序號，請你重新產生"新的"Offline Pack。
