How to enable "Restore on AC Power Loss" function in Crystal and CT-8000IP?

Question

After power lost, Crystal will shut down suddenly and cannot be turned on automatically even thought the power coming back. The only way is rebooting Crystal manually. How to enable "Restore on AC Power Loss" function in Crystal server?

斷電後, Crystal 在瞬間關閉後, 當電源恢復後，可能無法自動開啟運行。這時候必須手動重新開機 Crystal。如何在Crystal 伺服器上啟用 "斷電後自動恢復運作" 功能？

Solution

User can adjust the BIOS setting to enable this function. Please follow below instruction to enter in BIOS:

(1) Connect monitor to Crystal.

(2) Boot Crystal. Press "DEL" continuously when you see below screen.

使用者可以調整 BIOS 設置以啟用此功能。請按照以下說明進入 BIOS:

(1) 將顯示器連接到Crystal。

(2) 啟動 Crystal。當您看到下面的螢幕畫面時, 請連續按 "DEL"。

(3) Adjust AC power setting refer to below snapshot:

Old 4 bay model (CT-4000/4000R):

Path: Chipset  >>> South Bridge Configuration >>> Restore AC Power Loss then select "Power ON". 

(3) 調整電源設置請參閱以下截圖:

舊的4 硬碟款式 (CT-4000/4000R):

路徑: Chipset >> South Bridge Chipset >> Restore on AC Power Loss >> "Power on"。

New Crystal 4 bays and tower (R1- 0400CT and TR-0400CT):
Path: Chipset  >>> Restore AC Power Loss then select "Power ON".

新款 Crystal 4 硬碟 and 箱型 (R1- 0400CT and TR-0400CT):
路徑: Chipset  >>> Restore AC Power Loss then select "Power ON".

Crystal 8 bays (CT-8000R/RP/IP):
Path: Chipset  >>> PCH-IO Configuration >>> South Bridge Configuration >>> Restore AC Power Loss then select "Power ON". 

Crystal 8 硬碟型號 (CT-8000R/RP/IP):
路徑: Chipset  >>> PCH-IO Configuration >>> South Bridge Configuration >>> Restore AC Power Loss then select "Power ON".

(4) After adjusting finished, select "Exit" then press "F10" to save the configuration and exit the BIOS.
(4) 調整完成後, 選擇 "退出", 然後按 "F10" 保存設定並退出 BIOS。
